Job Summary: Provides scheduled transportation to Head Start parents and children to and from the center, on field trips and special activities. Drivers work in center during non-driving hours, under the direction of the site supervisor. Drivers must observe all the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration Safety Handbook; must have a working knowledge of Head Start and preschool children; must possess the ability to communicate with Head Start children, parents and staff.
Education: High School Diploma or GED. CDL with Passenger and S Endorsements. Experience: Prior bus driving experience preferred. Rate of pay: $9.69/hr Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 7 am – 5 pm.
