We are seeking caring individuals who enjoy working with seniors.  The position provides in home care services. Starting rate of pay for the position is $8.75/hr.  Benefits include retirement, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a High School Diploma or GED, and Home Care Educational Training. Employment is dependent upon results of criminal background checks and drug screening.

Teacher (Mingo)

Coalfield C.A.P., Inc. is looking for a Teacher in Mingo County. 
Job Summary – Has major responsibility for classroom operation including, planning, carrying out activities, maintaining the classroom environment, supervising children, parent/teacher conferences, and supervision of classroom volunteers; may also supervise and/or mentor teacher(s) and teacher assistant(s) at a site; assumes classroom responsibilities in addition to supervisory, record keeping, and/or planning duties. Requirement - Applicants must have good written and oral communication skills and experience working with 3 and 4 year olds.   Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education; may also accept a bachelor’s degree in a related filed, with 18 hours in early childhood education course work.  A valid driver’s license is required.  Employment dependent upon results of criminal background check.

Family Development Partner - Mingo County

Coalfield C.A.P., Inc. Head Start program is now accepting applications for Family Development Partner in Mingo County. 
Job Summary:    Works directly with families; makes home visits and assists clients and families by providing resources and making referrals; assists or locates assistance in crisis; keeps and maintains confidentiality of records on individual cases; serves as a family advocate and liaison between family and community services; implements eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance services; may provide transportation, conducts child find activities, has a caseload of families to serve.
Education:  Must have Associate’s Degree, preferably in Social Science related field.
Experience: Experience in social service field, community organizing and group organization working with adults/families; experience in supervision, record keeping and organizing. Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 7 am – 5 pm
