Coalfield CAP is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher based in Mingo County.
Job Summary - Has responsibility for classroom operation including, planning, carrying out activities, maintaining the classroom environment, supervising children, parent/teacher conferences, and supervision of classroom volunteers; assumes classroom responsibilities in addition to supervisory, record keeping, and/or planning duties.
Requirement - Prefer bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field. Will consider an associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field OR high school diploma with child development associate credential or state authorization and have been trained (or have equivalent coursework and training) in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development. A valid driver’s license is required. Employment dependent upon results of criminal background check. Prefer a minimum 2 years’ formal experience working with preschool aged children.
